I have just returned from the Birmingham Quilt show where we exhibited our quilt called Mapping the Hurt. It was made as part of a community art and health workshop for the Dharavi Biennale and is a quilt locating gender-based violence in a Mumbai slum.

There is still time to catch the exhibition The Wit of the Stitch at Ruthin Craft Centre in north Wales. It is on till the 25th Sept. I am very proud to be part of this show curated by the wonderful June Hill.

Artists featured are  Eleanor Edwardes, Louise Gardiner, Caren Garfen, Cindy Hickok, Rachael Howard, Karen Nicol and Lynn Setterington.
